On 17 June, it was that time again: The Graduate Party 2023 at the Deggendorf Campus took place 🎓.
This year’s motto was “Stay connected – Dive into a new life”, in the spirit of the completion of the “study” phase of life and acceptance into the THD graduate network.
Graduates of the faculties of Applied Health Sciences, Applied Computer Science, Applied Natural Sciences and Industrial Engineering, Applied Business Sciences (School of Management), Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Media Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics as well as of the Center for Academic Continuing Education said goodbye.
In glorious summer weather, we were able to provide the 520 Absolvia and around 1300 accompanying persons with what we hope was an unforgettable evening at the THD. Of course, our graduates were again dressed in gowns and doctoral hats with pom-poms in faculty colors. Everyone was allowed to take the hat home as a souvenir. One of the many highlight moments – besides the faculty-internal certificate presentation: The common “Shift the Tassel” and the hat toss of all graduates as a symbolic conclusion of the studies!
Finally, at the After Hour, the evening was brought to a close – with a light show (produced by media technology students) and music.
For AlumniNet members there was a reduced entrance fee and a drink voucher.
